2021 was the 400th anniversary of the first holder of the Sedleian Chair of Natural Philosophy (Edward Lapworth) taking up his post. This event (delayed by Covid) celebrates the diverse lives and wide ranging labours of a number of Sedleian professors across four centuries.

While coffee or lunch are not be provided at this event there is a cafeteria in the Weston library at which refreshments (such as tea, coffee and a snack lunch) can be purchased. There are also many eating places nearby.
