IHoM6: Irish History of Mathematics Conference
IHoM6: Irish History of Mathematics Conference
The 6th Irish History of Mathematics (IHoM6) Conference will take place at Maynooth University on Wednesday the 30th of August 2023.
Abstracts (of no more than 150 words) should be sent to to ciaran.macanbhaird@mu.ie on or before Friday the 9th of June. Following the format of previous successful IHoM conferences, abstracts should relate to the history of mathematics and can be from individuals working in education, at any level, across the island of Ireland. Abstracts in the Irish language will also be considered.
It is envisaged that each presentation will be allocated approximately 40 minutes (including 10 minutes for questions).
Registration: If you are interested in attending the conference, whether or not you would like to present, please fill in the registration form. There will be no registration fee, but registration is compulsory and will close on Friday the 23rd of June.
Participants may also be interested in attending the Consonances conference, which runs at Maynooth University from Wednesday the 30th (after IHoM6 finishes) until Friday the 1st of September. The Consonances conference webpage contains registration and further details on this conference, which covers aspects of the history and philosophy of mathematics and science.
