A Global History of Astronomy on Primary Sources: new approaches, new digital tools
An exciting training program for master's students, doctoral candidates, and early-career researchers focused on the history of astronomy.
This unique initiative offers direct engagement with primary sources, thanks to a collaboration between the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF) and the Paris Observatory. Through a project-based learning approach, participants will explore the latest developments in digital humanities and artificial intelligence as applied to the study of these sources. The program will also address the provenance of Parisian archives related to the history of astronomy.
